"Had to Make It Hurt..."

Jazmine Sullivan is quite possible the best thing since sliced peaches. I know the U.K. movement is in full effect with people like Estelle and what not, but their voices fail in comparison. I must give her credit for her word choice. In Fact, Ms. Sullivan was definitely on her innovation game when she made these songs. Has it ever been said/sung better?

Exhibit A: Bust Your Windows. Her songs, voice and sound is fresh. I haven't liked a female artist's album this much since Back to Black by Amy Winehouse. And please, expect a blog soon on Ms. Winehouse, drug use should strictly discredit morality and not talent and I love her music none the less.

But back to Jazmine Sullivan, her music is hot. Reminds me of a Keyshia Cole and a Lauryn Hill with a smidge of pop.
